I draw my inspiration from ancient world motifs, tribal dance and music of Mindanao, images of 1800's Filipinas,images of actors & actresses in 1940's, TV ads in 1950's, music of Satie, Chopin, Mozart & Rachmaninoff especially the Prelude in C# Minor, the poetry of Percy Bysshe Shelley and Shakespeare's Sonnets.I love the spiral sign as it signifies for me that one never stops to learn.I also appreciate the contrast of things as in life one cannot appreciate the sweet if one doesn"t taste the bitter as I can see it in Brancusis's works ( the contrasts of textures). I love the works of Albers, Sonia Delaunay, Matisse, Motherwell, & Brancusi. I was born in Oct.1964. My mother taught me to read the Solfeggio at an early age of 5. Then taught me to play the piano.
